And there are loads of RSS readers and such around the place. Any of these will allow you to "subscribe" to Steve's or any other blog. For my purposes I use a Firefox extension called Sage, which does that. I also use Bloglines, which is a website. There is also a good Mac newsreader called NewsFire, which is a downloadable application that runs on your machine. There is a real skill to goor research and news gathering that deserves a long post of its own. I might do that! Now, linking Steve's blog to your site is dependent on your software. In Wordpress, there's a section of the administration area for links. I have no experience of TypePad or MovableType, etc, but it will be similar. In your case with Xanga, I would suggest checking their help files, etc. I have no experience of Xanga. I note the links you have there now are not hyperlinked, which is something to try and fix.
