		<description>As I'm preaching through Philippians right now (having begun the series with Acts 16), it's great to see Paul's strategy in his first trip to Europe: goes to the most strategic city in Macedonia (Philippi) via the port town of Neapolis, because there isn't a synagogue in the city he preaches first to God-fearing women outside the city gate, one of these women and then soon 2 other very unlikely people are converted by the gospel, and bam, Philippi becomes a beachhead city for taking the gospel throughout Europe.</description>
