From birth control to baby-making

According to JD Pearring, some churches, like families, aren’t ready to start reproducing.
Then there are churches that are in the “aunt and uncle stage,” willing to provide some resources and encouragement to new church starts, but not willing to make the commitment to birth their own “child.”
And, of course, some churches are on birth control, “they’re never going to start a church–ever.”
Other churches, however, are comfortable with the parenting role and enjoy it so much, they become baby-making machines—churches that love to plant churches, help them grow and help those churches start more churches.
Sherri Brown has found there are five questions that church planting pastors need to address as they plan to reach the baby-making stage.
1. Why do you want to launch a series of churches?Want to hear how others have successfully answered these questions and launched out to become church planting movements?
2. How can you speak the target group’s heart language?
3. Are you willing to export your health to another church?
4. What resource are you willing to loose?
5. Are you willing to let other people exceed you?
